Keene .020-1 Rainscreen for creative a 1/4 " cavity behind the entire stone and stucco veneer.   Used to create a cavity for easier unobstructed drainage to the weep screed and increases air flow

Some installation information.

1 Get your paper in place on the wall along with flashing.

2 Install the rainscreen over your building paper from the bottom up with the fabric facing out. Tuck under the bottom 4” flap of fabric to protect against insects (this is where the weep screed will be placed.   Overlap the bottom 4” fabric flap as you layer the sheets of rainscreen from the bottom up.  Run right into the windows and doors.  Staple every square foot or enough to allow the rainscreen to hang.

3 At the top of the wall run the rainscreen under the trim so that there will be air flow at the tops of the walls.  The weep screed at the base will provide airflow from the base of the wall.

4 Use scissors or a razor to cut the rainscreen.

5 Once rainscreen is in place – lathe is placed over top of rainscreen as normally done.

Paper and flashing should be installed.

Start from the bottom up with your rainscreen.

The bottom flap of fabric will be tucked under to prevent insect intrusion.

Weep screed should be installed the the intersection between the sheathing and foundation.

Rainscreen is placed tight to the windows.

Corners wrap easily

Shot of second row installed with 3 1/2" flap overlapping to the bottom layer.
